Communication

communication

In general, communication (lat. Communicare = share, tell) is a process in which a communicator (also sender) sends a message, which is encoded in linguistic or non-linguistic characters, via specific communication channels to a communicant (receiver), who sends it message decoded.

Since the 1940s, the word communication has been used frequently to describe questions and models relating to the transmission of signals from technical devices such as telephones, computers or controlled weapons. In this sense, the term communication means "connection", "transmission", "mutual control".
