Amusement Parks

Germany is one of the leading countries in Europe when it comes to amusement parks. More than a hundred major parks open their doors to over 50 million visitors each year.

The amusement parks are usually designed in such a way that they offer a destination for a day trip. Larger parks are increasingly offering overnight accommodation for stays of several days (e.g. Europa-Park). There are now a large number of parks that have a specific focus such as sport, nature, entertainment, animals, games and fun, etc.
