Yaak
The Yaak River is a tributary of the Kootenai River in the US state of Montana and British Columbia, Canada.
The river rises in southeastern British Columbia near Yahk Mountain, part of the Purcell Mountains. The river passes the Montana border and then receives the East Fork Yaak River and thereafter the West Fork Yaak River.
The South Fork Yaak River also enters below the confluence before making a wide sweep west and then south again. The Yaak River finally empties into the Kootenai River near Troy, Montana.
